Technical Data & Product Details
Product Details
- AUTOOL HTS728 walnut shell blasting tool for engine decarbonization
- Product Features
- Combustion chamber cleaning: Direct blasting through the spark plug opening – no disassembly required
- Intake manifold cleaning: Sequential cleaning of each intake port using blasting technology for thorough removal of carbon deposits
- Cleaning of intake and exhaust valves: Effective cleaning of intake and exhaust valves without disassembly, by targeted blasting
- Multiple adapters: Equipped with 5 adapters for broad compatibility with various vehicle models
- External air source design: Powered by a powerful 1400 W motor combined with an external compressed air source. This ensures continuous performance and significantly increases the impact force of the walnut shell granules to effectively remove stubborn carbon deposits.
- Integrated HEPA filter: Simultaneous blasting and suction. The filter separates the walnut shell granules from carbon residues, allows reuse of the blasting media, and prevents residues from damaging the exhaust system at high temperatures.
- Integrated recycling system: The walnut shell granules are automatically recycled in the device – no manual recovery required. Saves time and labor.
- User-friendly design: With 360° swivel casters for easy mobility and flexible handling.
- Installation Instructions
- 1. After unpacking, place the AUTOOL HTS728 walnut shell blasting tool at the workplace. Remove the suction hose for the walnut shell granules from the accessory compartment and attach it to the corresponding connector.
- 2. Remove the hose elbow from the accessories and mount it on the other end of the suction hose.
- 3. Remove the blasting nozzle tube and attach it to the blasting nozzle.
- 4. Insert the blasting nozzle into the opening of the elbow on the suction hose.
- 4. Connect the quick coupling of the external compressed air source to the air inlet of the device.
- 5. Connect the power cord to a suitable power supply.
- Preparation
- 1. Open the side locks of the device top, remove the cover, and take out the filter element.
- Fill the walnut shell granules (recommended quantity: 3–5 kg) into the stainless steel tank. Then properly reinstall the filter element and cover.
- 2. Remove the safety goggles from the accessories and put them on.
- 3. Remove the vehicle's intake manifold, check the carbon deposits in the cylinders and on the valves, and ensure that the intake and exhaust valves are closed.
- 4. Ensure that the blasting nozzle, suction hose elbow, and vehicle-specific adapter are correctly assembled.
- Operating Instructions
- 1. Open the top cover, fill in 3–5 kg of walnut shell granules, put on the dust cover, and close the lid tightly.
- 2. Connect the blasting nozzle to the recycling hose (pay attention to the opening on the hose).
- 3. Remove the intake manifold and ensure that the intake port is freely accessible.
- Insert the blasting nozzle into the intake port and turn the crankshaft until the intake valve is closed.
- 4. Connect a suitable air compressor (not included) and check the proper function of the compressed air source.
- 5. Turn on the device. Select the appropriate working mode and adjust the suitable speed according to the degree of contamination.
- 6. Start cleaning. Clean each intake port for about 2 minutes. Then stop the device and check the cleaning result.
- 7. After completing the cleaning, remove any remaining walnut shell granules with a compressed air gun.
Notes
- 1. Recommended air pressure: up to 0.7 MPa (at least 6 bar)
- 2. Recommended grain size of walnut shell granules: 0.4–0.6 mm
- Under normal conditions, the granules can be reused 5–10 times.
- 3. It is recommended to use an air compressor with a dryer filter to avoid moisture formation. Moisture can cause clumping of the granules and reduced blasting performance.
