Product Details

  • Autel MaxiBAS BT608E Battery Tester Electrical System Analyzer with Built-in Thermal Printer All System Diagnosis
  • The BT608E is a touchscreen battery and electrical system analyzer that uses Adaptive Conductance, an advanced battery analysis method that produces a more accurate test of the battery's cold cranking ability and reserve capacity, vital for determining a battery's true health.
  • The BT608E can display a quick health status of the existing battery, register a new battery, and perform advanced battery and electrical system diagnostics. The BT608E's VINscan function enables quick identification of vehicle and battery specifications. Read/clear codes on all vehicle systems. Print or share customized reports via Wi-Fi or print test reports via the built-in thermal printer.
  • The Autel MaxiBAS BT608 can test 6- and 12-volt batteries up to 3000 CCA and both 12- and 24-volt output/charging systems. It has settings for Flooded Lead-Acid, EFB, AGM, Spiral, and GEL battery types.
  • Three key function highlights
  • ✔️ Reduce Battery Misdiagnosis
  • ✔️ Diagnose Low Capacity Batteries
  • ✔️ Reduce Charging & Main Pressure Part Testing for Discharged Batteries
  • Advanced Adaptive Conductance Technology
  • The BT608E uses adaptive conductance to produce a more accurate test of the battery's cold cranking ability and reserve capacity, vital for determining a battery's health. Compared to conductance profiling technology, adaptive conductance can provide users with more accurate and faster diagnosis because it uses dynamic load instead of fixed load, which allows adjustment of the load according to the environment in the vehicle. Additionally, adaptive conductance has 30A discharge (10A for conductance profiling) for a faster battery test. The following are the advantages of adaptive conductance technology.
  • Reduce Battery Misdiagnosis
  • INTERSTATE statistics show that 50% of returned batteries are good and only need charging. With adaptive conductance technology adopted in the battery tester BT608E, the diagnostic accuracy rate reaches 95%, which is higher than conductance profiling with an accuracy of 45%.
  • Diagnose Low Capacity Batteries
  • Some misdiagnoses of battery problems occur when the battery tester cannot quickly identify the battery capacity status. The battery tester BT608E can solve these problems with adaptive conductance, with its bad battery detection rate up to 63.55%, which is over 15% (56.36%) faster than battery testers with conductance profiling.
  • Reduce Charging & Reset for Discharged Batteries
  • Some other battery testers do not perform SOH tests to identify discharged batteries and may perform some reset and charging in vain. With adaptive conductance technology, the battery tester BT608E can quickly detect the battery SOH and save you diagnosis waiting time.
  • In-vehicle Test
  • In-vehicle test is used for testing batteries that are installed in a vehicle. An in-vehicle test includes battery test, starter test, and generator test.
  • 1. Battery test
  • Following the instructions provided, technicians can perform the battery test. The battery test results include a color-coded result summary, a list of test data such as SOC, voltage, measured capacity, and repair tips. Even if a battery is in a low state of charge, the BT608E battery tester can accurately test its potential for stored energy without requiring a charge before the test, speeding up diagnostics.
  • 2. Starter test
  • Mechanics or DIYers can follow the on-screen instructions to complete the starter test. Start the engine and let it idle. The test results of the cranking system will be on the screen: the output voltage, cranking current, and cranking time.
  • 3. Generator test
  • By performing the generator test, technicians are able to check the load voltage/current, no-load voltage/current, and ripple. The direct test result will also display on the screen to tell whether the charging is normal, and whether there is a problem with the output or ripple.
  • Print test reports via built-in thermal printer
  • BT608E allows DIYers and technicians to print reports immediately after performing a test or later; all reports are saved in Data Manager.
  • The internal printer comes with two rolls of thermal paper (2.3" wide by 0.98" diameter). Replacement rolls are available in most stationery stores.
  • WiFi printing via the Autel PC MaxiSuite software
  • Email/PDF sharing of test report
  • Customization: report title, shop information, technician name
  • 5 car battery types supported
  • Out-of-vehicle test is used to test the condition of batteries that are not connected to a vehicle. This function aims to check the health status of the battery only.
  • Autel BT608 automotive load tester is designed to test 6V/12V flooded, AGM, AGM spiral, EFB, and GEL batteries with CCA (100 to 3000 CCA), CA, SAE, EN, IEC, DIN, JIS, and MCA standards. BT608 can test the battery state of health, provides display instruction guides for battery positioning and testing.
  • 1. State of charge: The amount of energy stored in the battery relative to its capacity
  • 2. Voltage: The difference in electrical potential between the positive and negative terminals of a battery
  • 3. Measured capacity: Battery energy storage capacity measured in Cold Cranking Amps
  • One Touch Battery Replacement/Registration
  • 1. Auto registration: Auto registration is often used after the successful installation of a new battery, including BMS reset and electrical appliance reset
  • 2. BMS reset: The BMS reset function allows you to register a new battery after battery replacement
  • 3. Electrical appliance reset: When the vehicle power is interrupted in order to replace the battery, and a memory saver has not been used, position settings on some vehicle components will be lost. These settings should be relearned.

Note

Compatibility and features may vary depending on the vehicle model, year, control unit, and software version. Please check your vehicle's requirements before purchasing.
